With the help of its members and friends, the FCC organized the following petition, asking the Senate leadership to bring effective currency legislation to a vote “before this Congress adjourns.”  In response, hundreds of businesses, associations and trade unions added their signature, sending a strong Message from Main Street. (A similar petition was presented to the House leadership on a number of occasions leading up to the September 29th vote. Visit Information on Legislation.)We anticipate presenting the first version of this petition to Senate leaders sometime between Election Day and the start of the "lame duck" session.
